Brooke Howard is a member of Solar's 05/06 ECNL team where she plays under the leadership of Sal Adames. She is a versatile player who loves to play the 10, where she is best at finding her forwards in behind backlines through her ability to play balls in a variety of ways and with different textures, and can also beat her defenders 1v1 and score goals. Howard's abilities have been recognized by the nationally-known TopDrawerSoccer, where she is the #55 ranked midfielder and resides in the top overall 160 players in the nation. Howard also was selected to play in the 2023 ECNL Phoenix National Selection Game and has been selected to attend all three of the USYNT Regional ID Centers held in Dallas over the past three years (’21, ’22 & ’23).
School
Howard is a junior at Cornerstone Christian Academy where she plans to graduate early in December 2024. After graduation, she intends to major in psychology with the ultimate goal to be a sports psychologist or coach. Howard is a straight A student and maintains a 4.0/4.0 GPA while balancing all honors and/or dual credit classes. She is a member of her school's National Honor Society and is a student representative as well. She is a part of numerous clubs, including being one of the leaders of the PenPal club and being on the board of the Student Service Club. Howard has also been blessed to be able to share her love of soccer with younger kids by creating, developing and leading all aspects of a free soccer clinic as part of her yearly service project and coordinating and leading the Cornerstone athletic department's soccer camps this past summer.
Personal
Brooke Howard is the daughter of Kyle and Wendy Howard and is the oldest of four children. Her brothers, Chase and Jaxon, are in 10th and 8th grade, respectively, and her sister Sloan is in 6th grade. All of the siblings play soccer. While off the pitch, Howard enjoys using her soccer skills to inspire the next generation with her small business called Howard Coaching, but also enjoys spending time with her family and two goldendoodles, SJ and Chewie, and one lovable Boston Terrier, Saber.
