Club
Elena currently plays for Solar U15 ECNL. She plays multiple positions, including outside defensive back and defensive center midfield. Prior to ECNL, Elena played DA for Solar SC for coach Sal Adames. She has played for Sal since she was 8 years old and he’s still her coach today. Elena is a ranked player for Girls IMG Academy for the Class of 2024. Elena also plays for the North Texas ODP team. She participated in the 2021 South Region ODP IDI camp.Through the years she has played at the highest level of competition, winning a multitude of tournaments, including Dallas Cup, State Cups, Vegas Cup and Disney.
High School Sports
At Nolan Catholic High School Elena plays varsity soccer for Coach Jay Fitzgerald. During Elena’s freshman year she received a medal for the all-district team. As a player at Nolan, Elena primarily played outside back but had to help out in the midfield. Playing multiple positions allows her to grow as a player and get a new perspective of the game. Elena also competes in varsity track. She runs the 400-meter dash, 200-meter dash, the 4 by 400 relay, and the 4 by 100 relay.
Education
Elena attends Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth TX. She maintains a 4.0 GPA while taking all honors and AP classes. She is a member of the ambassadors’ program at Nolan Catholic and has been accepted into the National Society of High School Scholars. Elena is still exploring her options for college. She plans to study and major in a discipline in Mathematics and Science. She also wants to play collegiate soccer and possibly run track as well.
Family
Elena has one younger brother, Joseph. Joseph also plays competitive soccer for BVB in North Texas. Her parents, Joshua and Ester, are extremely supportive in all endeavors. Her father is President of a national affordable housing consulting firm. He helps housing agency across the country with management, training, and consulting needs to house low-income families. Ester, her mother, is a dyslexia teacher for Fort Worth ISD.
